Save a Dog

spud_header_for_IS.jpg

Every year thousands of dogs are put to sleep because they are born into a world that does not have enough homes for them.
For every dog that lives indoors with a human family and receives the care, attention and emotional support that he needs, there are thousands just barely surviving. Most will never know a kind human touch.
Adopting a dog will be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have. Dogs are full of love and simply need someone to show them love and kindness and give them a second chance.
If you would like to save a dog and provide them a loving home, please get in touch with any of the organizations below.

The Labrador Lifeline Trust is a Registered Charity with an operating area of Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Lincolnshire and part Nottinghamshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. All dogs going into the Trust are carefully vetted by our experienced helpers, as are the homes that wish to adopt them.
The Trust deals with over 300 cases per year and will take dogs irrespective of age or infirmity.

Labrador Rescue is a place where dog lovers unite to discuss and promote the welfare of Labradors, provide and exchange information and meet like-minded people.
Labrador Rescue has been set up in June 1995 to try and help all Labradors who have had the misfortune to become destitute, unwanted and homeless through no fault of their own.
These unfortunate dogs come from broken homes or their owners cannot provide for them with the total commitment they need.

Labrador Rescue South East and Central, unlike some other rescue organisations, does not have a kennel full of homeless dogs. They work on a system whereby the owner of the dog to be rehomed continues to keep the dog, if circumstances allow, until the right home is found, as this minimises the dog's anxiety. If you have decided that you would like to adopt, please contact them.
