Loading... Please wait...Clicker training involves positive reinforcement for a desired behaviour. The dog then repeats the behaviour to keep earning the reward.
The elasticated wrist strap ensures it is always at hand.
Directions for use:
Initiation: Click the clicker. Give a reward to your dog. Repeat until your dog relates the click to the reward.
Training: Decide what action you want to train your dog to perform (e.g. sitting). Each time your dog voluntarily performs the action, immediately click the clicker and give a reward.
Reinforcement: Repeat the above many times. Once your dog has learned that the click means a reward is coming, you can attach a verbal or hand cue to the action.
Phase out: Start to use the verbal or hand cue more and more and phase out the click and reward. Eventually all your dog will need to perform the action is the cue you give it.
