This is a brilliant bowl. My German Shepherd 'Heidi' used to bolt her food without chewing it at all which often resulted in her having a very bloated stomach, usually followed by sickness. She now takes about 4 times as long to eat and hasn't been ill since. I would willingly recommend it to anyone else.

I have been looking around for a while for a bowl that would slow down Mischa (a very greedy retriever) and I found this one very effective. i would definately recommend it.

I have a Cocker Spaniel who bolts her food something terrible and burps ungraceiously afterwards. I thought that I would buy this bowl to slow her down,but she soon found a way to eat the food just as quick as ever before and just wolfs it down, sad to see her doing this as I truly believed I had found a wonderful product. The dog bowl is lovely in itself but totally useless for a dog of her size, by the way I have the medium bowl. I am now at my wits end and the only thing I can try next is to buy her bigger biscuits so that she has to chew them and not wolf them down and not touch the sides. I wondered if I was not feeding her enough and so fed her more but it made no difference what so ever. Sadly this bowl is a thumbs down for me.
